Retirement in Coldstream

My wife, Pauline, and I retired to Coldstream, BC from Whitehorse, Yukon in 2002 having bought the house you see above. We have a fantastic lake view to the east, a hill behind the house where highway 97 climbs out of Vernon heading for Kelowna and on south. The road on which our house is situated, College Drive, is a cul-de-sac with 15 houses, so is quite quiet, and the highway behind us is higher and far enough away that we hear very little traffic noise.
